Jason is from Southern California but currently based in Scotland. He started performing improv with the National Comedy Theatre and Comedy Sportz. Jason taught improv at 6 high schools in San Diego as well as at Cal State San Marcos and University of Colorado Boulder.

In Los Angeles Jason performed and trained with The Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, and IO West. Jason has also toured and taught workshops at such festivals as Red Rocks Improv Festival, Denver Improv Festival, Glasgow Comedy Festival, and many more around the world with multiple improv teams. Upon moving to New York, Jason helped co-found the corporate improv training company Improv (In)Corporation as well as perform with Saint York at the PIT.

Jason has been teaching improv for 11 years and performing/training for 19 years. He has worked with cast members and writers of shows such as SNL, The Good Place, Conan, Parks And Recreation, Master of None, and WWE. He has also been trained by such legends of the industry as Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, Miles Stroth, Will Hines, Anthony Atamanuik, Brian James O'Connell, Alex Berg, and Frank Caeti.

He currently teaches with Glasgow Improv Theatre where he also performs monthly with the team Couch.

Jason, in collaboration with Julie Brister, created the improv form The Glen. Based on the play Glengarry Glen Ross, Jason teaches courses in it through World’s Greatest Improv School.

Jason co-founded the Edinburgh International Improv Festival in 2019 and brings internationally renowned improv teachers and teams to the city for a weekend filled with classes, performances and jams. A highlight of the UK improv scene. Previous guests have included Will Hines, Billy Merritt, Julie Brister, Michelle Gilliam, Sarah Claspell, Heather Anne Campbell, Becky Drysdale, Chad Carter, John Murray, Colleen Doyle and Jason Schott.
